Ingredients

  • Oil : 1/2 Cup

  • Onion : 1 Large Chopped

  • Minced Meat : 1/2 kg

  • Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp

  • Ginger powder: 1 tsp

  • Tomatoes : 2-3 (diced)

  • Salt : 2 tsp

  • Garam Masala (whole Spices powder) : 1 tsp

  • Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder: 1/2 tsp

  • Coriander Powder: 1 tbsp

  • Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp crushed & roasted

  • Potatoes : 2 diced

  • Green Peas : 1 Cup

  • Chopped Green Chilies (deseeded) : 3 

  • Water : 1/2 Cup

  • Chopped Garlic, Coriander and Lemon Juice for garnishing.

Method and Instructions

  • Take 1/2 Cup Oil in a Pan, add 1 large chopped onion and fry till it becomes translucent. 

  • Add minced meat and fry till it turns white. Add 1 Tbsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger powder and keep cooking.

  • Then add, 2-3 medium diced tomatoes, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp garam masala powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp Coriander Powder, 1 tsp Crushed and roasted Cumin seeds, Mix and cook well.

    Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

  • Now, Add 2 diced potatoes, 1 cup green peas, 3 chopped green chilies (deseeded) 1/2 cup water, Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

  • Garnish with Chopped Garlic and coriander, 1 Lemon juice, cover and cook for 5 minutes.

    Delicious Aloo-Qeema-Matar is ready to serve!
