Ingredients

  • Boneless Chicken: 1/2 Kg

  • Salt: 1 Tsp

  • Black Pepper: 1 Tsp

  • Garlic Paste: 1 Tsp

  • For Tomato Gravy
  • Butter: 2 Tbsp

  • Garlic Paste: 1 Tsp

  • Yogurt: 1/2 Cup

  • Desiccated Coconut: 2 Tbsp

  • Crushed Almonds: 8

  • Tomatoes: 3 Medium (Boiled and Blended)

  • Salt: 1 Tsp

  • Turmeric: 1 Tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder: 1 Tbsp

  • Garam Masala Powder: 1 Tsp

  • Crushed Cumin Seeds: 1 Tbsp

  • Chicken Stock: 1 Cup

  • For Handi

Method and Instructions

  • Take 1/2 kg Boneless Chicken in a bowl add 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Black Pepper and 1 tsp garlic paste.

    Mix all the ingredients well with the chicken and marinate for half an hour.

  • Tomato Gravy Preparation
  • In a Frying Pan add 2 Tbsp Butter, 1 Tsp Garlic Paste, 1/2 Cup yogurt, 2 Tbsp Desiccated Coconut, 8 Crushed Almonds, fry well and add 3 medium boiled and blended tomatoes, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder, 1 tsp Garam masala powder, 1 Tbsp Crushed Cumin Seeds.

  • Mix well and cover. Add 1 cup of Chicken Stock, Mix and cook well.

  • Handi Preparation
  • Add 3/4 cup Oil in a Kadahi, Add 3 medium boiled and blended onions, Fry till light golden brown, 

  • Now, Add the Marinated Chicken. Fry well and cover and cook for 5 minutes.

  • Now Add the Tomato Gravy and Mix Well, Add Fresh Cream: 1 Cup, Mix Well and Cover & Cook for 5 Minutes.

  • Garnish with Dried kasuri methi. Cover & Cook for 2-3 minutes.

    Very Delicious Chicken Boneless Handi is ready to be Served.
