Creamy Chicken with Garlic Spinach Recipe

Ingredients

  • For Chicken Marination
  • Breast Fillets: 2

  • Salt: 1/2 Tsp

  • Black Pepper Powder: 1 Tsp

  • Garlic Powder: 1 Tsp

  • Lemon Juice: 1/2 Piece

  • Oil: 6 Tbsp for frying

  • For Garlic Spinach
  • Oil: 4 Tbsp

  • Grated Garlic: 5 cloves

  • Spinach: 1/2 Kg

  • Salt: 1/4 Tsp

  • Red Chilli Flakes: 1/4 Tsp

  • For Sauce
  • Oil: 2 tbsp

  • Chopped Onions: 1 medium

  • Grated Garlic: 4 cloves

  • Malai: 1/2 Cup

  • Yakhni: 3/4 Cup

  • Black Pepper Powder: 1/4 Tsp

  • Nutmeg Powder: 1/4 Tsp

  • Parsley: 1 Tsp

  • Oregano: 1 Tsp

Cooking Method and Instructions

  • Hammer the chicken fillets so they become flat. Next, marinate them with the given ingredients for 15 - 20 minutes.

  • Till the chicken is marinating, make the garlic spinach by pouring the oil in a pan or pot. Fry the garlic in the oil a little and then add the Blanched & Sliced Spinach and fry it well. Dry the water and then add the spices. Mix well and set the Garlic Spinach aside.

  • In a pan, pour 6 tbsp of oil and fry the Chicken fillets. Flip them after 1 - 2 minutes. Cover & cook them for 10 - 12 minutes. After cooking, dry the water & fry the fillets for a nice golden colour. Take them out and in the same pan and remaining oil, continue with step 4.

  • Now for the Sauce. In the same pan and remaining oil of the chicken fillets, add the onions and fry them till translucent. Then add the grated garlic & fry well. Add the cream and mix well. Then add the chicken stock & mix well till smooth. You can also use chicken cubes if chicken stock is not available. Add the remaining spices & herbs and mix well. The sauce is ready!
