Ingredients

  • Potatoes: 3 Large

  • All Purpose flour: 4 Tbsp

  • Cornflour: 2 Tbsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Red Chilli Powder : 1/2 Tsp

  • For Fish Marination
  • Fish Fillets : 500 gm

  • Lemon Juice : 1 Lemon

  • White Pepper Powder : 1/2 Tsp

  • Black Pepper Powder : 1 Tsp

  • Salt: 1 Tsp

  • Mustard Paste : 1 Tsp

Method and Instructions

  • First of all mix all the fish marination ingredients (mentioned above) and marinate the fish for 1 hour.

  • Then, take 2-3 large potatoes, sliced and cut to make fries. Take water in a pan add 2 tbsp salt and Boil them till half cooked. 

  • Strain the Fries and Place them on a Tray & Freeze them for 1 hour.

  • Add 4 Tbsp all purpose flour, 2 Tbsp Cornflour, salt, and 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and add water to make a thick batter.

  • Add Oil in a Frying Pan for Shallow frying, Dip the Marinated Fish in Batter, Then Coat in Breadcrumbs. Then Fry in Oil, Fry the Fish till Both sides are Crispy & Golden Brown.

    Deep Fry the Frozen Fries, Serve the Fish with Fries and Enjoy.
