Ingredients

  • Grated Carrots: 2 kg

  • Ghee: 1/2 cup

  • Crushed Cardamom: 1 tsp

  • Milk: 1 litre

  • Sugar: 2 cup

  • Khoya: 1/2 kg

  • Kewda Water: 2 tbsp

  • Almonds: 50 gm

  • Pistachios: 50 gm

Method and Instructions

  • Gate the carrots with a grater or in a machine.

  • Take 1/2 Cup ghee in a pan and add 1 tsp crushed Cardamom.

  • After a while add grated carrots, mix and fry well.

  • Add 1 litre milk and mix well. Now add 2 cups Sugar mix well and cook till the milk dries.

  • Add 2 tbsp Kedwa water, Add peeled and chopped Almonds, Add 250 gm khoya, Mix well.

    Level the halwa with a spatula.

  • Sprinkle a little crushed Almonds, and Pistachios add a layer of leftover khoya, Sprinkle Almonds and Pistachios in the end.
