Ingredients

  • For Pakoras
  • Gram Flour: 1-1/2 cup

  • Chopped onion:1 cup medium

  • Coriander : 1/2 cup chopped

  • Green chillies : 3-4 (Deseeded & Chopped)

  • Cumin Seeds: 1 tsp (Roasted and Crushed)

  • Coriander: 1/2 tbsp (Roasted & Crushed)

  • Red Chilli powder: 1 tsp

  • Salt : 1 tsp

  • Baking Soda : 1/2 tsp

  • For Kadhi
  • Yogurt: 250 gm

  • Gram Flour : 4-5 tbsp

  • Turmeric Powder: 1-1/2 tsp

  • Red chilli powder: 1 tsp

  • Tomato: 1 Boiled and blended

  • Ginger & Garlic paste: 1 tbsp

  • Water : 2 litre

  • Basil Leaves: 5-6

  • Salt : 1-1/2 tsp

  • For Kadhi Tarka
  • Oil : 1/2 Cup

  • Onion : 1 Sliced

  • Whole Red Chillies : 6-7

  • Basil Leaves: 6-7

  • Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp

  • Crushed Coriander : 1 tsp

Method and Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients of Kadhi (mentioned above) and gradually add water. 

    Boil the kadhi till its thick. 

  • Mix all the ingredients of Pakoras (mentioned above) and gradually add water to make a tick paste. Make a thick consistent paste.

  • Add half cup ghee in a frying pan, and fry pakoras, add the fried pakoras in the kadhi, Cook kadhi on medium flame for 5 minutes, Garnish with Coriander.

  • Add half cup oil in a saucepan, add 1 sliced onion, fry till golden brown, add 6-7 whole red chillies, 6 basil leaves, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds, 1 tsp Crushed coriander Add this parka to the kadhi.

    Serve with Rice and Enjoy!
