Ingredients

  • For Green Chutney
  • Yogurt 500gm

  • Salt (to taste)

  • Sugar 2 Tbsp

  • Green Chillies Deseeded and Chopped 3

  • Coriander 1 Cup

  • Garlic Paste 1 Tsp

  • For Phulkis Batter
  • Powdered Dal Moong 1/2 Cup

  • Powdered Dal Maash 1/2 Cup

  • Baking Soda 1/2 Tsp

  • Salt 1/2 Tsp

  • Green Chillies Chopped 3

  • Coriander Chopped 1 Cup

  • Garlic Paste 1 Tsp

  • Ginger Paste 1/2 Tsp

  • Water Half Cup

  • For Imli Chutney
  • Tamarind Pulp 1 Cup

  • Ginger Powder 1 Tsp

  • Sugar 3 Tbsp

  • Salt 1/2 Tsp

  • Ajwain 1/2 Tsp

  • Chaat Masala 1 Tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder 1/2 Tsp

  • For Chaat Platter
  • Boiled Chickpeas 2 Cups

  • Boiled and diced Potatoes

  • Onion for garnishing

  • Tomatoes for garnishing

  • Sliced Green Chillies

  • Chopped Coriander

  • Papdi

Method and Instructions

  • Grind all the ingredients of Green Chutney and make Chutney.

  • Add 1.5 Cup Water gradually in the ingredients of Phulki Batter to make a thick runny mixture, cover and keep a side for fermentation.

  • Shallow fry in a pan, once golden brown take out and soak in water for 10 minutes.

  • Take 1 Cup Tamarind Pulp, 1 Tsp Ginger Powder, 1 Tbsp Sugar, 1/2 Tsp Salt, 1/2 Ajwain, 1 Tsp Chaat Masala, 1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder.

    Mix well and cook till becomes thick and glossy.

  • First place boiled White Chanay, boiled and diced Potatoes, sprinkle onion rings, diced tomatoes.

  • Place Phulka, pour green chutney, Papdi, Imli chutney, top with green chillies, coriander and Red chilli flakes and Chaat Masala.

    Your Delicious Mixed Chaat is ready to be served.
