Ingredients

  • Yogurt: 250 gm

  • Gram Flour: 4-5 Tbsp

  • Water: 1.5 litre

  • Coconut Milk Powder: 2 Tbsp

  • Turmeric Powder: 1 & 1/2 Tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder: 1 Tsp

  • Ginger/Garlic Paste: 1 Tbsp

  • Basil Leaves: 6

  • Salt: 2 Tsp

  • Lemon Juice: 1 Whole

  • Diced Cauliflower: 1 Cup

  • Hyacinth Beans: 1 Cup

  • Diced Potatoes: 1 & 1/2 Cup

  • Green Peas: 1 Cup

  • Diced Red Carrots: 1 Cup

  • Green Chillies and Coriander for garnishing.

  • For Tardka
  • Thinly Sliced Onions: 1 Medium

  • Basil Leaves: 6

  • Whole Red Chillies: 10

  • Crushed Coriander: 1 Tsp

  • Cumin Seeds: 1 Tsp

Method and Instructions

  • In a Kardahi without the Stove on, add Yogurt, Gram Flour, Mix Well.

  • Add 1.5 Litre Water and Turn On the Flame.

  • Add Coconut Milk Powder, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Mix Well and Add Ginger/Garlic Paste, Basil Leaves, Salt, Lemon Juice, Cook for 15 to 20 Minutes, So mixture becomes thick.

  • Add Diced Cauliflower, Hyacinth Beans, Diced Potatoes, Green Peas, Diced Red Carrots, Mix Well and Cover & Cook for 15 Minutes.

    Add 4 Green Chillies & Garnish with Coriander.

  • Add 1 Cup Oil in a Saucepan, then add thinly sliced Onions, Fry till Onions are Golden Brown.

  • Add Basil Leaves, Whole Red Chillies, Crushed Coriander, Cumin Seeds, Add the Hot Onions in the Vegetable Kadhi.

    Delicious & Tasty, Vegetable Kadhi is Ready to Serve.
