Ingredients

  • Water: 1 litre

  • Green Peas: 1/2 Cup

  • Cauliflower: 1 small size

  • Carrots: 2 medium size or 1 cup

  • Potatoes: 1 large or 1 cup

  • Deseeded & chopped Green Chillies : 4 -6

  • Finely Chopped Onions : 1 medium size or 1/2 cup

  • Roughly Chopped Coriander: 1/2 cup

  • Salt: 1 & 1/2 Tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder : 1 Tsp

  • Roasted & Powdered Cumin Seeds : 1 Tbsp

  • Flour : 2 Cups

  • Salt: 1/2 Tsp

  • Oil : 2 Tbsp

  • Oil for frying Parathas

Method and Instructions

  • Take 1 Litre water, add 1/2 cup green peas, Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  • Then add a small cauliflower, 2 medium size or 1 cup Carrots, 1 large potato, Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

  • Now, Take the boiled vegetables out and Cut the Cauliflower into thin slices and add 4-6 Deseeded & chopped Green Chillies, Finely Chopped Onions, Roughly Chopped Coriander, Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Roasted & Powdered Cumin Seeds.

    Mix them well and set aside.

  • Now take 2 cups Flour, add salt, Oil and mix well, by gradually adding water, knead a Dough.

    Apply little Oil and set aside.

  • Divide the Dough into 4 Equal Parts and Roll them in any Shape. 

    Add the Vegetables in a Paratha then cover it with another one and stick the sides.

  • Make sure you don’t forget to make holes in the Paratha with a fork. Add Oil in a pan and Fry the Parathas.

    Cook till both sides turn Golden Brown. Vegetable parathas are ready to serve!
